Comments: Dr. Alemany has appeared on radoo and TV to inform citizens about hepatits C. Originally in academia concentrating on Oncology and Hematology, he participated in the original Rebetron Clinical trials and was part of the team that set up the liver disease clinic at UMC Lafayette. He has subsuquently opened an Internal Medicine practice in Opelousas and is aggressively treating hepatitis C. Because of his background he has particular skill at managing side-effects of the Combo.
