Comments: Dr McCashland managed my difficult case and kept me alive for three long years while I waited for a new liver. He and the UNMC Transplant Team watched over me before and after my transplant. Always there to answer questions and ever vigilant for changes in my condition. I'd recommend Dr McCashland to my own mother if she needed a GI guy. I owe my life to the kindness of strangers, (the donor family), the peristence of my wife and the compassion and skill of the Team at UNMC.
