HCV RNA levels were significantly higher in liver than serum (P < .01; Wilcoxon matched pairs test). HGV RNA levels were significantly lower in liver than serum (P = .03; Wilcoxon matched pairs test). Hepatic HCV RNA levels were significantly higher than those for HGV RNA (P < .01; Wilcoxon matched pairs test).
