Although they are stopping treatment with incivek my daughter and I are both HCV free after stopping treatment after the 6 month waiting period. The treatment was hard but we were both good responders and it was worth the side affects to be cured. I hope the newer drugs are easier to tolerate. Robin

I was on incivek which cured me of hep c. Can anyone tell me what lasting side effects could be from that medicine?

I am almost through with a course of tx with Sovaldi & Olysio. (1 week to go!) Because of weak kidneys, I can’t take Interferon. Thus far, my only side effects have been itchy skin, sun sensitivity and sleep disruption. I am working full time; even overtime!
As of today, I am HCV free and the doc thinks I’ll probably stay that way!
